What to say about myself?
1) My name is Oliver Bain and I am currently based in Pontyates,
Carmarthenshire, SA15 5TY. Tuition is available in this general area,
and Skype tutoring is possible over a wider area if necessary.
2) I have a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Nottingham University
(2012) , a first class BSc in Mathematics in Mathematics from
Aberystwyth University (2006), and an HND in Computer Aided Engineering
from Carmarthenshire College (2002).
3) My BSc had a large proportion of Spanish modules in year one,
introducing all of the grammer and relevant practices, which I have
maintained via much correspondence in successive years.
4) Since my PhD I have conducted research and spent an academic year
lecturing at Aberystwyth University (2013-2014) on a temporary basis.
5) I can tutor Mathematics at Primary, GCSE, A-Level, and
undergraduate level and will do so happily. Furthermore I will help
people develop Spanish at a beginners level, and give them the tools and
advice for progressing to the next level.
